3RD ANNUAL “EXPLORE A SAINT!”
Contest has begun!
In honor of the Holy Day of Obligation,
“All Saints Day” on Nov. 1,
“Explore A Saint!” contest sheets were emailed to all RE parents along with lots of resources to learn about the Saints and how we’re called to Sainthood! Students have fun sharing the info they learn with their family as they complete the contest sheet, then turn it in to DRE via email or dropoff to RE Porch by Dec. 1 to have a chance to win a Prize Package! Judge(s) will select winners from specific age groups, based on great
detail & effort!
A great resource:

As part of our commitment to providing
a Safe Environment to our children and youth, our parish conducts yearly
personal safety lessons to all children
in our parish's care. Along with a strong parent component, the "Circle of Grace" program teaches children that God is with them at all times, especially in difficult situations. Our Catechists and Ministry Leaders follow the Curriculum. All individual grade lessons are available
in the RE Office for your reference.

DON'T MISS THIS AMAZING SPIRITUAL & EDUCATIONAL
OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR CHILD!
Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s newest program for the spiritual formation
of our children...Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)!
CGS is a hands-on, Montessori inspired faith formation program.
Children who are ages 4-6 and potty-trained can participate.
CGS is led by a certified catechist on Sundays from 9:45 am-10:45 am.
Children not currently enrolled in religious education may enroll for
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Due to the child/catechist ratio,
we will have a maximum number of children that are able to register.
Please come by the RE Office to register. Registration is on a first come basis.
For further questions and info, visit our CGS webpage
and contact (361) 643-3548.
