Our parish program exists to help you in your obligation to provide for the
education of your children, in the truths and practices of their Catholic Faith.
Religious education is a lifelong process that guides people into
‘intimacy with Jesus Christ’ (Catechesi Tradendae).
It is more than formal instruction; it is a conscious pathway
to the development of the whole person as a model of Christ
and permeates all facets of life in a Catholic community.
Its foundations are laid in the home and
built in partnership within the parish community.
We offer a comprehensive religious education program at our parish
that includes both structured catechesis and sacrament preparation.
Together, these two religious education components make for Total Catechesis.
Our classes offer structured catechesis for pre-kindergarten through
high school youth as well as sacrament preparation for
Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconcilation.
Our classes cover basic doctrine, prayer, Christian morality,
liturgy and Sacraments at an age-appropriate level.
Jesus empowered the Church to continue His mission when He said,
Full authority has been given to me both in heaven and on earth;
go, therefore and make disciples of all the nations.
Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Teach them to carry out everything I have commanded you
And know that I am with you always, until the end of time. (Mt. 28:18-20)
